Public bug reported: In Ubuntu 18.10, Gnome Software has the option to sign in to Snap Store.
This option is ambiguous as it may lead users to believe they need to sign in to interact with snaps. The sign in should either lead to clearly defined activity (e.g. download, account sync, etc) or not be shown. ** Affects: gnome-software (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: gnome gnome-software in sign snap software ** Attachment added: "gnome-software.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1801699/+attachment/5209273/+files/gnome-software.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-software in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1801699 Title: Gnome Software Snap Store sign in action is ambiguous Status in gnome-software package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: In Ubuntu 18.10, Gnome Software has the option to sign in to Snap Store.
