Bug description:
  Binary package hint: system-config-printer

When attempting to add a new printer (HP Photosmart 2575) via system-
config-printer, I get prompted for what appears to be Samba
credentials (There is a field for username, password and workgroup)
The printer does not require these credentials (I have tried different
combinations, but clearly this prompt should not be displayed, there
  are absolutely no credentials required)

Adding the printer via the CUPS interface works perfectly, without any
  prompt for non-existent credentials.
