Public bug reported: vte 0.54.0 to 0.54.2 suffers from a potential crash if the user closes a terminal tab/window in gnome-terminal (or any other vte-based app) and then modifies the cursor blinking settings.
Mainstream release 0.54.3 fixes this issue. See https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/vte/issues/77 and https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1657512 for details. Could you please release a fix for Cosmic? (And while at it, consider addressing bug 1804457 too?) Thanks! ** Affects: vte2.91 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: cosmic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to vte2.91 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1807773 Title: Crash in set_blink_settings() Status in vte2.91 package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: vte 0.54.0 to 0.54.2 suffers from a potential crash if the user closes a terminal tab/window in gnome-terminal (or any other vte-based app) and then modifies the cursor blinking settings.
