Recording with bulge effect crashes

Bug description:
ubuntu 11.10 in both 32&64 bit Cheese crashes when told to record video with
the bulge effect.

1) open Cheese
2) go to Effects, choose Bulge
3) click on Video
4) click on 'Record a Video'
5) see the window disappear :-)
