Title:
  Camera on but no picture or video

Status in cheese package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  The cheese application is loaded either from the terminal or from the
  unity launcher. The cheese application loads however there is no
  picture, no video, or burst picture. The camera's light is on for my
  webcam but all I get on the display in the cheese application is a
  black screen. When I run the application in the terminal I receive the
  following error: "libv4l2: error got 4 consecutive frame decode
  errors, last error: v4l-convert: libjpeg error: End Of Image" I am
  using Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit on an Dell XPS M1530.
