Copying files from a Windows share fails randomly

Bug description:
I have about 16 GB of mp3 files on my Synology NAS configured as a
Windows share. When I try copy-paste the highest-level folder
containing all the files and album folders to my local hard drive, the
copy process dies after only a couple of subfolders have been copied.
I tried this also with a much smaller sets of folders and files and it
still fails to copy all of them. I noticed this after having upgraded
to 12.10 and I didn't have any problems on 12.04 regarding file copy.
