Title:
reduce delay before loading icon is displayed

Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
When it takes time to display the content of a directory an animated
loading icon is displayed in the lower right directory view window
corner. In situation where the system is under heavy load it can take
up to one minute until this loading icon is displayed leaving the user
to believe that the directory is empty. Is should be made sure that
the icon is displayed earlier in order to avoid such confusion.
