Do you have the desktop staying empty until you do an action again or
just for a second or so? If it's staying empty, does it make a
difference it you move the content of the desktop view somewhere else
and only try with a text example?

Bug description:
  Hello guys

  When you open Gedit and edit any text or not, and click save, the
  desktop icons disappear, disappear, and move from side to side. After
  you click save the icons reappear again.

  Ao abrir o Gedit e editar qualquer texto ou não, e clicarmos em
  salvar, os ícones da área de trabalho desaparecem, somem e se movem de
  um lado para o outro. Após clicar em salvar os ícones reaparecem
  novamente.
