I installed gnome-shell 3.30.2-0ubuntu1.18.10.1 on Ubuntu 18.10 and
verified that the Ubuntu and GNOME sessions appear to work fine.
Switching users works too.

  [ Regresison potential ]

We're allowed to believe upstream's QA has really fixed bugs.

So, give the desktop a general workout. Test launching applications,
multi monitor, fast user switching, anything you can think of. We're
after no *regressions* here, not no bugs. If a bug existed before and
still exists, that's sad but doesn't mean the SRU is bad.
