Tested today build 25.02.19 daily tests and was unable to repeat the
error--changing icon size worked well for me. This was tested Live on a
Dell laptop not in a virtual machine.

  I started a live session using daily ISO 20190112 within KVM. I opened
  the Settings application, changed the Ubuntu dock icon size and when I
  closed Settings I saw a crash notification which led to the reporting
  of this bug report.
