What you expected to happen --------------------------------- When I mount a davfs or cifs remote folder, only shown folder names without the number of elements inside the folder and for the images, their file names with generic thumbnails. What happened instead --------------------------- When I mount a davfs or cifs remote folder, thumbnails are created for images and pdf and the number of elements is showed. For folders with lots of images, pdf or dir & subdirs, it takes really a long time to show its content and it consumes lots of unnecessary process on the server. If I set these 2 options to never, the content of the remote folders are much much quicker (like 3 sec instead of 30 sec) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1314641/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
