** Description changed:

  In the Power tab, the option "When the power button is pressed" is set
  to "Suspend". However, this action is not executed on power button
  press. It does nothing.
  
  This is always reproducible on Ubuntu 19.04, while on Ubuntu 18.04.2 it
  works as expected.

Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  In the Power tab, the option "When the power button is pressed" is set
