Title:
gnome-control-center no longer shows all the xrandr resolutions

Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Very recently gnome-control-center started only showing a subset of
the available screen resolutions. I'll attach a screenshot and also
the xrandr dump to show what I mean, eg you can see that the 2048x1152
  (16:9) resolution is now missing.
