  LibreOffice does not open in My Documents path

Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  LibreOffice (/usr/bin/soffice) opens directory in my home directory
  and not the "My Documents" directory specified in the "Paths" option.
  Also, openning a second file defaults to my home directory instead of
  the current path.
