See the attached screen shot for details. On a Maverick install, the list is: * standard.doc * soffice.dic * Ubuntu.dic * IgnoreAllList Presumably, the second one only applies to OpenOffice.org itself while the other ones may apply to other applications as well or to the whole OS. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open OpenOffice.org Impress 2. Enter some misspelt text 3. Right-click on the misspelt word 4. Navigate to the Add sub-menu Expected behaviour: The list of options in the Add sub-menu clearly states what is the scope of each dictionary (OO.o Impress only, all of OO.o, all of Ubuntu) by providing a textual description rather than a file name. Actual behaviour: The in the Add sub-menu gives the user no clue as to what the difference is between the different dictionaries and whether adding it to one or the other will make any difference. *** 2011-02-14 - cannot reproduce in LibreOffice 3.3, Maverick -- leighman *** ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: openoffice.org (not installed) ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-19.28-generic 2.6.35.3 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-19-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Sep 5 13:50:34 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" - Beta i386 (20100406.1) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_GB.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: openoffice.org To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/630826/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
