Title:
man page does not mention that -e is deprecated

Status in gnome-terminal package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  gnome-terminal -e 'command...' emits a warning:

  # Option ā€œ-eā€ is deprecated and might be removed in a later version of
gnome-terminal.
  # Use ā€œ-- ā€ to terminate the options and put the command line to execute
after it.

However this is contrary to the man page, which says nothing about -e
being deprecated, and does not mention anything about the new method
being possible (-- followed by command and options).

  Please update the documentation

  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. man gnome-terminal
  2. gnome-terminal -e "sh -c 'ls -l; sleep 3'"

RESULTS: The documented method of specifying a command causes a
  deprecation warning.

EXPECTED RESULTS: Documentation should say how to do the right thing.
