I’m glad the pip thing works, and if you have no problems that way, no need to change. But if you do see any issues, try the snap version of deja-dup, just because I also fixed a separate issue with duplicity in the snap that might cause Google Drive users to see an “unknown error” dialog at the end of a successful backup. But anyway, if you aren’t broken, don’t fix it. But if you see oddities, try the snap: snap install deja-dup --classic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to deja-dup in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1847196 Title: BackendException: PyDrive backend requires PyDrive installation Status in deja-dup package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I have deja-dup configured to do a back up to Google Drive. This worked until like a month or two ago, at which point it started to print BackendException: PyDrive backend requires PyDrive installation. Please read the manpage for setup details. Exception: No module named 'pydrive' There does not seem to be a pydrive module in the archive; and I thought it is using GOA anyway?
