Thank you for your bug report. What content is there in that directory?
It's supposed to include only templates for new documents and a
small/selected list. There are known issues if the template includes lot
of data to be read/parsed

Renaming "Templates" to "# Templates" fixes a lot of speed issues
in a range of desktop applications, e.g.
file managers, text editors, etc.
