This bug is not useful because it is delayed heap corruption AND presently shows no useful stack trace.
If you encounter a crash like this then please add: MALLOC_CHECK_=3 G_SLICE=always-malloc to your /etc/environment. Then reboot and report a new crash next time it happens. Hopefully that one won't land here. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1856781 Title: /usr/bin/gnome-shell:free(): corrupted unsorted chunks Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding gnome-shell.
