This does not occur when using podman 1.4.4, must be a nuance of Docker
1.13.1.

Title:
core dumps when installing mono-devel in ppc64le/ubuntu:18.04

Status in mono package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
(moderators: this is a resubmit since my browser generated an error
when I tried to submit before, please delete if this ends up being a
  duplicate)

When installing 'mono-devel' from the default repositories of
ppc64le/ubuntu:18.04 with apt, core dumps are generated with no
obvious errors in the terminal's output. I have not noticed this
behavior with other packages deployed via apt (however, I have not
ruled out it being a dependency of mono-devel causing them). These
core dumps do not occur in the x86-64 version of ubuntu:18.04. Mono
runtime appears to be functioning despite evidence something went
wrong during package deployment. Attached is the terminal output and
  commands to reproduce in Docker.

  # lsb_release -rd
