  xrandr > xrandr.txt
  lspci -k > lspcik.txt
  dmesg > dmesg.txt

and then attach the resulting files.

Title:
  Samsung 85" TV worked for short time, now doesn't

Bug description:
  I installed Ubuntu 18.04 on a media PC connected to a samsung smart
  TV. this morning the TV was no longer displaying, and reporting that
  the resolution was not possible to display. I tinkered with the
  settings, and now the TV will not connect to the PC.
