Title:
  balance slider mutes sound on midle and left or rigth make loud for
  both ears

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  when using headset audio is inaudible going to settings and putting  balance 
to left or right works kinda like an audio slider with mute at the center and 
left/right as max for both ears (meaning regular balance functionality does not 
work) 
  resets to center(mute) whenever plug or unplug 
  regular system volume still works as expected
