gnome sound settings for microphone wont save
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
after the system start the microphone settings in gnome sound settings
are on the default value after changing them to more amplification
they will reset after a few seconds and will be reset after a restart
to the normal value this is clearly an annoying bug.
