banshee not working, no audio from web or aplay

Bug description:
no audio after installing FFADO, JACK - Focusrite Saffire. Removed
pulseaudio. Checked all dependencies before compiling FFADO. Loud
clicking noise when turning up FX returns. Clock set to SPDIF input
sync. Ubuntu 12.10.
