Title:
There is no jack sense option on the MBP17" Unibody

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
On my Macbook Pro 17" Unibody, by default sound doesn't work at all.
Quirking snd_hda_intel with model=mb5 will make it output sound, but
headphones and speakers are controlled by separate volume sliders.
Plugging in headphones does not mute the speakers.
