Title:
  Toshiba u305-s5097 (Audio Intel 82801G ICH7 chipset) Ubuntu 10.10
Fresh Install No Sound/Dummy Output Problem

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Release 10.10
  Audio Chipset Intel 82801G ICH7

After an upgrade from 10.04 sound card was not recognized, I did a fresh
install. The same problem persisted. In the attachment I provide the file
which was created by http://alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh script. I have also
followed and probably read all the existing solutions in the forum as well as
in https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SoundTroubleshooting link. In the
attached file, the line "snd-hda-intel: model=toshiba" is add by myself. I have
tried many other options which did not work also.
Related part of the lspci output is also given below.

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation N10/ICH 7 Family High Definition
Audio Controller (rev 02)
Subsystem: Toshiba America Info Systems Device ff50
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 45
          Memory at d0640000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
          Capabilities: <access denied>
Kernel driver in use: HDA Intel
          Kernel modules: snd-hda-intel

aplay -l does not give any output.
