I am running BudgieNightlybuild that I downloaded Sat March 7 2020. I did sudo apt-get update in Virtual Box installed in and running from Oracles PPA VirtualBox. Guest Editions seems to be running by default. Problem: I cant gain access to the settings app in the menu. I click on it, the system takes me to the lock screen and I sign in and I am looking at the desktop again. I looked up the package and 'sudo gnome-desktop-settings -v' The dash v for verbose so I can see what going on and report it. Type in my password and boom taken to the lock screen type in my password and there is the desktop with no terminal open telling me what happened. Dont know if it is pertinent but I have autologin checked in the install process. budgie-desktop --version reports budgie-desktop 10.5.1 Copyright © 2014-2019 Budgie Desktop Developers To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/1866564/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
