I assume when you say "server based spreadsheet" you mean that the spreadsheet is hosted on a different system than the system you are using to change the spreadsheet. Can you provide more info on the setup? Have you seen this issue repeatedly?
I'm removing the tag until more is known and making the bug public since I don't see any reason it should stay private. It also opens the bug so others can identify if this issue affects them too. ** Tags removed: rls-ff-incoming ** Information type changed from Private to Public ** Changed in: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1870901 Title: soffice.bin crashed with SIGSEGV Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I was trying to save a server based spreadsheet after amending ProblemType: Crash DistroRelease: Ubuntu 20.04 Package: libreoffice-core 1:6.4.2-0ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.4.0-21.25-generic 5.4.27 Uname: Linux 5.4.0-21-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.11-0ubuntu22 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: KDE Date: Sun Apr 5 11:25:30 2020 ExecutablePath: /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin InstallationDate: Installed on 2020-04-03 (1 days ago) InstallationMedia: Kubuntu 20.04 LTS "Focal Fossa" - Beta amd64 (20200401) ProcCmdline: /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin --calc /home/username/.cache/kioexec/krun/6264_0/Budget2019-20.xlsx ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_GB:en PATH=(custom, no user) XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=<set> LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash Signal: 11 SourcePackage: libreoffice StacktraceTop: ??
