Title:
  Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in OsAbort() from AbortServer() from
  FatalError() from CreateWellKnownSockets()

Bug description:
  Running in low graphics mode on Xenial if I run startx from the
  console I can get a desktop but this is the only way I can't get to
  either gdm or lightdm login screens.
