Public bug reported: I am on Ubuntu 20.04 and snap Firefox 75.0-3.
I keep getting "Although GNOME Shell integration extension is running, native host connector is not detected. Refer documentation for instructions about installing connector." Of course, I have already done "sudo apt-get install chrome-gnome-shell" and I am confident that the installation went well because Gnome shell integration works just fine if I use it on deb-Chrome. The issue should then be related to Firefox snap for Ubuntu. In add-on preferences, I get "Your native host connector does not support check for GNOME Shell extensions updates. Probably python-requests package is missing." ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1875216 Title: [snap] chrome-gnome-shell extension fails to detect native host connector Status in firefox package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I am on Ubuntu 20.04 and snap Firefox 75.0-3.
