Title:
[VPCEB2MGX, Realtek ALC269, Mic, Internal] No sound at all

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
My internal mic is not working for about a month. It used to work
fine. I use 3 Operating Systems, Windows 7, Arch and Ubuntu on my Sony
Vaio VPCEB2MGX/BI. It's not working in any of the OSs. Can it be a
hardware problem? If so, how would I be sure it is a hardware problem
  and not a software one?
