I confirmed with Debian testing that they install LO 6.4.3, and that
alt-x works in there. So what I see agrees with Sebastien.

There is good reason to believe that this will be fixed in 6.4.4 with
Don't use main.xcd configured with --disable-gui (LP: #1869561)

Title:
Alt-X keyboard shortcut not defined in LibreOffice 6.4

Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
LibreOffice has default keyboard shortcuts defined. In Ubuntu 20.04
and LibreOffice 6.4, it seems like some of those keyboard shortcuts
are missing. Specifically I was looking for Alt-X (for LibreOffice in
  general, not only writer).

Alt-X is defined by default in a LibreOffice source compile.

These can be configured in LibreOffice tools -> customize - keyboard
