Ok, I closed this bug.
But if you have found that the behavior you experience is due to a
conflict between ibus-libpinyin and ibus-pinyin, that is a bug in itself
which you may want to submit. It's worth mentioning, though, that ibus-
pinyin is deprecated and will probably be removed from Debian/Ubuntu
soon.

Traditional Chinese option not survived after reboot

Bug description:
Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, ibus-libpinyin 1.11.1-3
expect: after changing from simplified chinese to traditional chinese,
the setting should survive after reboot.
phenomenon: option got reset to simplified chinese after reboot.
using ibus pinyin input method, ticked 'Traditional' option for
'Chinese' label. The setting works but not kept after reboot. After
reboot, the input mode turned back to simplified chinese.
