You have been subscribed to a public bug: Every now and then Firefox becomes unresponsive, i.e. one cannot type text in interactive fields, bookmark folders (in the top) cannot be opened. May be cured with minimize/maximize play. After one minimizes/maximizes, the text that was typed (but nothing happened) instantly appears.
Corelation with web-page content is not known to me.
