Btw, let's simply disable im-config to test: * Open Language Support and select "none" as the Keyboard input method system

After doing several updating-restoring tests I have identified that the problem package is im-config. It only happens to me with the nvidia rtx 2060 card and 440 driver. When I connect my monitor to the intel integrated graphics, the problem is solved. Will it be a conflict between the nvidia drivers and im-config?
