I'm getting the same behavior as the link below, in Ubuntu 18.04 you could do a quick alt+tab to change to the first window of an application, but now that I updated it to the latest version (20.04) I have the all windows of an app are displayed with Alt+tab. https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=697480 This was supposedly fixed by Didier Roche, check out the following link https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=786009.
