I did just use:
driver = webdriver.Chrome()

However, I just tried the same code again and could not reproduce the
crash. Now, it seems to work.

Title:
  Unable to make chromium-chromedriver work with selenium

Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Trying to use chrome web driver instead of firefox driver in selenium
  gives following error. How to use chromium with selenium now when it
  is packaged in Snap?

  Error message:
  selenium.common.exceptions.WebDriverException: Message: unknown error: Chrome
failed to start: exited abnormally.
    (unknown error: DevToolsActivePort file doesn't exist)
    (The process started from chrome location
/snap/chromium/current/command-chromium.wrapper is no longer running, so
ChromeDriver is assuming that Chrome has crashed.)
