nautilus? do you load it from a thunderbird menu or dialog and if so
which one?

a proper report would include detailled steps, example

'* start thunderbird
* go to calendar
* select file menu, import

expected: 
display a filesector to pick the iso

Bug description:
  in the snap version of thunderbird it isnt possible to add a calendar
  from a local file... at creation there is no asking which file and its
  also not possible to edit the address of the file
