Full walk through:
sudo apt install aspell-ru
cp /usr/share/aspell/ru.cwl.gz .
gunzip -d ru.cwl.gz
word-list-compress d < ru.cwl
ERROR: Corrupt Input.
The same steps do work with cy.cwl for example so it seems ru.cwl is corrupted.
