I am on Ubuntu 20.04 and it worked right after the release. I also thought that it stopped working but it is an selection option in the search bar from Nautilus: Click on the arrow on the right of the serach bar and then you can choose for search "Full text" or "File name". Full text search is working for me in Ubuntu 20.04.
