Hi, it happens to me as well when scrolling fast into a long email (233k or so).
Unable to get the backtrace, but got almost same message when debugging: [Thread 0xb0384b70 (LWP 3107) exited] The program 'evolution' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details: serial 136713 error_code 8 request_code 141 minor_code 1) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) evolution: Installed: 2.32.2-0ubuntu7 Candidate: 2.32.2-0ubuntu7 Version table: *** 2.32.2-0ubuntu7 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Kind regards, --j -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/886725 Title: evolution crashes at end of long mail with many images Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I got a mail with a log of images.
