Thanks. After experiencing this issue 2-3 times last night, I realized this may possibly be related to tablet screen rotation (not sure if the gnome-shell logs delve into this, tried looking and didn't see anything that seemed relevant) - Generally when I've noticed this bug I was using the device in portrait mode. Screen orientation done via physically rotating device + using internal sensor.
My setup/experience in this last encounter was: - Had 3rd party gnome shell extensions (including wandering pixel) disabled beforehand - only "Desktop Icons NG" enabled. - Turned off bluetooth as well, to try and dispell earlier ideas of it being related to the bluetooth keyboard connection.
