@stratolion you mean, you upgraded to Ubuntu 21.10 (Impish) and it is no longer working for you? This bug was filed against 2.4.7. I don't think you can just download and install that .deb as many other packages (including network-manager) depends on it. Your other packages expects to find it's plugins in /usr/lib/pppd/2.4.7 and not /usr/lib/pppd/2.4.9. Did you upgrade to 21.10 and it still crashes on you, then file a new bug.
