Title:
  shutdown not working from GNOME

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Upon using ubuntu 22.04 with latest updates.

shutdown via gnome does shutdown but the power light stays on on
laptop. So I have to hold the button down for ten seconds.

  oddly enough
  shutdown works in terminal correctly.
  sudo shutdown -h now
  works
