Public bug reported: The audio on my laptop drops when I open a new application (or switch to a different one). Sometimes it happens when switching tabs. It does not matter which application is playing audio, the audio usually stops when the application is switched.
The typical workaround is to kill pulseaudio and start it again but that requires me to restart the application which is playing the audio.
