Title: Upgrading to 22.04 on wayland session closes session Status in wayland package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Just tried to upgrade Kubuntu from 21.10 to 22.04 in a konsole on a Wayland session (using do-release-upgrade) and while setting up one of the packages I lost the Wayland session and was left with a tiny cursor in the upper left corner. No way to restart a new session or connect a tty to inspect the running upgrade process.
