Status in “gedit” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: When I try starting gedit, nothing seems to happen. Running `pidof gedit` though tells me it's running. Most of the times, if it's already running, when I try to open it again, the previous running instance suddenly shows, as no new process seems to be created. So most of the times I need to start gedit twice (sometimes even three times) to actually get it on my screen.
