Right clicking takes >3 minutes to open the menu if there are more than 300 files in the current folder. Opening a directory with 12,000 files takes so long that I get to catch up on my reading. Also Caja frequently crashes (even more often than Chrome). This was not a problem in earlier versions of Ubuntu MATE (18.04 through 20.04.3 without the last 3 updates). --- ProblemType: Bug ApportVersion: 2.20.11-0ubuntu27.21 Architecture: amd64 CasperMD5CheckResult: skip CurrentDesktop: MATE DistroRelease: Ubuntu 20.04 InstallationDate: Installed on 2022-03-05 (21 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu-MATE 20.04.3 LTS "Focal Fossa" - Release amd64 (20210819.1) Package: nautilus PackageArchitecture: amd64 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.13.0-35.40~20.04.1-generic 5.13.19 Tags: focal Uname: Linux 5.13.0-35-generic x86_64 UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) UserGroups: adm cdrom dip lpadmin lxd plugdev sambashare sudo _MarkForUpload: True To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/caja/+bug/1951220/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
