** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 11544 Single click doesn't work in file chooser dialog box -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gtk+3.0 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/899772 Title: Inconsistency: GTK+ does not open elements with one click whereas set so in Nautilus Status in “gtk+3.0” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I set up Nautilus to open files and folders with one click only instead of two. I did the following: Open Nautilus, Edit menu, Preferences, Behaviour tab, select Open elements with one click. But when I use GTK+, this behaviour is not respected. For example the selection of a destination folder in a 'Save as…' dialogue window is made using two-clicks to open. This bug has been triaged a long time ago on GNOME Bugzilla (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121113) and patches have apparently been submitted. I am not technical enough to understand why nobody made the required merges, but I hope someone in Ubuntu will dare doing it. I suppose the age of the bug is the only reason which could forbid me to assign it to the One Hundred Papercuts team.
