Title:
Broken keyboard navigation in the Power Off dialog if launched via app
  search

Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed
Status in gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons-ng package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
The "power off" dialog in gnome shell does not have focus when
launched from the launcher ui (meta key + search) and it is therefore
impossible to select either "cancel" or "power off" using keyboard
  navigation.

If, on the other hand, the dialog is launched from the indicator area
in the top right corner, the dialog has focus and keyboard navigation
  works as expected.

See the attached screencast for a visual demonstration.
